Membership

As Standley Lake’s sole rowing club, PEAK welcomes masters, juniors, adaptive rowers and veterans. The wakeless reservoir is open to non-motorized boating May 1 to Sept 30. Park entry opens at sunrise with water access 7 am to 8 pm.

PEAK Rowing Membership

2026 Fees

Membership Only: $315

1x Rack Space + Secure Oar & Sling Storage: +$315

2x Rack Space + Secure Oar & Sling Storage": +$420

Annual Paddlers Permit: Estimated $125 for those renting rack space. Estimated $65 for those without private boats. Payable to the City of Westminster. Discounts apply for seniors, military and persons with disabilities.

+$25/$20 Basic US Rowing Membership for all members.

A limited number of memberships and rack spaces are available.

  • Rack spaces for private boats are assigned based on physical limitations, volunteer hours, rowing frequency, shell type and other factors.

  • Members without private shells are limited to 22.

Pathways to Membership

Rowing is a finesse sport that requires regular practice to achieve a level of proficiency and independence. Our welcoming members and coaches are ready to mentor you into the beautiful, fluid and addictive world of rowing!

For people who’ve rowed previously:

  1. Submit your rowing experience

  2. Pass a bow certification to arrange your own rows (individual proficiency assessed by the coach)

For people who are new to rowing:

  1. Oarboard lesson followed by private sculling lesson

    or

    Learn to sweep/scull taster

  2. Become a member and participate in group rows and member-only lessons

  3. Pass a bow certification to arrange your own rows (individual proficiency assessed by the coach)

Returning Members

Renew on your Boathouse Connect account. Priority rack consideration available for those who pay in full (membership + rack fee) before Feb. 15, 2026. Please complete this survey describing your rack preferences.
